It is my newfound belief that weekends should ALWAYS have three days!!

I had no work on Monday due to Veteran's Day (I still had Drawing studio at night). I got so many things done this weekend, it was amazing! Here is a list of the things (some fun, some school-related, and some boring):

Yesterday I baked a big batch o' cookies and packaged them up to be mailed to Max & Kim (my cousin & his wife who just had a baby). I figure everyone will be giving them stuff for their baby and not be thinking of them as much. Well for two days I've been cooking like you wouldn't believe... Yesterday I made my "old standby" recipe... I make teriyake chicken shish kabobs, with cherry tomatoes and potatoes. It came out very good--it always does--it is one of the few things I can make without messing it up!! The secret of it coming out so good is that I cut the chicken up ( Read more... )
