Why cleaning takes so long when you're me

I feel like when I do a major cleaning project, it takes forever. Then, for like a week and a half, when people ask me what I've been up to, I'm like, "Oh, I've been cleaning." It doesn't seem like cleaning SHOULD take forever, but it does for me. That's because I stop and do random things while the cleaning is going on. I am very very nitpicky,

you clean like me! I've moved all the mess from one room to other rooms and just keep switching it around but improving each area. I swear in about 2 weeks everything will be perfect until i decide to do it all over again :)

I am very ADD about my cleaning. I'll do one area, stop and do something else, do another area, stop and do something else, and so on.

I so want to do my bathroom floor today.
