Sarah Palin in People Magazine

Republican VP choice Sarah Palin is on the cover of People Magazine this month, and I actually bought it. In all honesty, I was getting a couple magazines to put into one of my Soldiers' Angels packages, but often I do read the 'zines I mail before sending them... and yes, I was curious what People had to say about Palin.

For a number of reasons, Sarah Barracuda gets on my nerves. She said a joke: what's the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull? Lipstick. If that isn't putting women back 3 million years, I don't know what is. She has PTA on her qualifications for VP. Seriously? - A

She is terrifyingly disgusting. Totally. Have you seen the whole thing (granted on a liberal press website, but...) about her comment about Obama beating Hillary??? Totally racist. The woman terrifies me.

My favorite Palin factoid so far is something I read on tbe blog Talking Points Memo: It was the McCain campaign that initially broke the news about Bristol's pregnancy. Talk about a decoy! THIS way, no one's talking about the fact that even if she didn't build the bridge to nowhere, she sure as hell kept all the pork that was designated for it.
