That's so cool!

A few months ago, my dad found some silent movies my grandparents had made while they were on their honeymoon and my cousin converted them to digital format so we can view them frolicking in the snow. It's so nice to watch those. :)

That is AMAZING. How cool to see MOVIES of your young grandparents!! That is priceless to have an heirloom like that. Very smart of your cousin to convert them so everyone can enjoy them! :)

those are pretty awesome.

my dad has been taking home photo albums from my grandpa's house because he is doing our family tree and looking at the old photos are something i love.
we are going to scan our favorites and put them on a disc.

That is a GREAT idea! My cousin was just visiting this past weekend, and he and I talked about doing something like this... we were thinking of making a database of family photos and going to Grandma's house and scanning her collection so that everyone could have access to them.
