Little trickster me.

Sorry I tricked everybody!! I didn't mean to be a trickster! I was trying on my wig for Halloween, and I thought it looked cool, so I took a couple of pictures. I guess it was pretty convincing since that haircut is similar to my hair style now, and to some of my fave cuts in the past ( Read more... )

I can't believe it is only April and you are already planning ahead to Halloween!

I have very good reasons for starting early (or so I think!): here ya go: http://alliegee.livejournal.com/289523.html

I do love Halloween more than the average bear, and it's important to start early if you make your own costume and need to recruit a big group of six other people! :D

Sounds like a cool costume. May I ask what you're planning to use it with?

And no complaints from me. Always happy to look at a pretty face. :)

(Just to be clear, since there are some fine lines involved: Yes, I think you're beautiful. Yes, I like you. No I'm not hitting on you.)

This is my original post re: Halloween - http://alliegee.livejournal.com/289523.html

...although you are clearly a "Mary Ann Man," I'm going as Gilligan's Island's Ginger for Halloween! I will be recruiting 6 other friends to be the other castaways! (I already have a Gilligan, Skipper, and Mary Ann. I have a couple who MIGHT be the Howells. Need to find a Professor.)

PS: Don't worry; I have never taken any of your very flattering and kind comments to be creepy or whatnot! You are the best!

PSS: Ordering a wig on the Internet is HARD. I kind of thought the hair would be longer. Not sure if it is Ginger-ish enough. I think it almost looks like too modern a style (not quite 1960s enough). Hmmm.

Ah, right. Had forgotten about that post. Thanks.

I don't remember the show well enough to really be a fan of either. I was going purely by looks. Ginger is just too rail-thin for my tastes. Yes, I respond well to Mary Ann's sweet coyness, but it's also the fact that she has good tone and curves. It's almost a shame that you're a Ginger fan, really. You've got the makings of a good Mary Ann.

Glad to know my comments haven't been taken the wrong way. I like to make sure. There are some fine lines involved, and without non-verbal cues... I worry. (Hey, I'm Jewish. It's genetic... ;) )

Agree on the cut of the wig. Was going to comment on exactly the things you mentioned. It is short, stark, and very modern. It could pass if you don't find anything else (you can always make up a story about why/how her hair got so short), but it wouldn't hurt to keep looking.

See, I think it is more FUN to go as Ginger since all I'd have to do is make my hair into pigtails (something I do anyhow) and wear some tiny shorts to be Mary Ann. The Ginger costume is more fun (wig, gown, maybe some faux-diamond jewelry...). This will be the gown I'll make: http://www.sitcomsonline.com/photopost/showphoto.php/photo/52391/cat/896... )
