Ah yes, the new facebook feature. I don't like it, but I'm not freaking out about it. I just think it's silly and pointless, especially the line telling me that I commented on someone's wall. If I don't know that I wrote to someone else, I think there are bigger issues. ;)

Although...*wonders half-seriously whether this is some new form of domestic spying by the govt*

E-zactly. Could just be that I'm the apathetic person Aeneid was referring to in her post, but it's also useless to waste my energy on something like that.

If I don't know that I wrote to someone else, I think there are bigger issues. ;)

*snickers* If you have that problem, come see me in 500 years when I'm finally a legit psychologist and I'll treat you for free.

Ah, the Facebook news feed. I kind of like it, because all of my Facebook friends are my real friends, and it's a lot easier to read the News Feed than memorize their profiles.

Actually, I spend a significant amount of time online on Facebook, but my opinion is simply "OK, you're worried about someone stalking you. What about the radical idea of only listing your friends as your friends, if you have information listed there you don't want the general public to know."

Yes, right. I already don't let anyone who (a) isn't my friend or (b) doesn't attend my school see my profile. And I don't use Facebook that much anyway, sooo...

Like my LJ, my Facebook profile is strictly friends-only - even if that reduces my number of Facebook friends at my college, it's worth it for the peace of mind.

It's really only bothering the people who have a huge number of friends. Of course, that's Facebook's most influential group, as that's where their money comes from, so...

I still don't see what the issue is. The information is there anyway. Who the heck cares if it's complied into a list?
