*shudders* I've now been awake since 2:30 PM yesterday... I suppose that it isn't too bad, since I lounged about so late yesterday. But still... I want my sleep...
I hope you manage to make up for it this afternoon/tonight.
And I very much agree. Once last summer I finished work at 1am and started at 7am, and didn't bother going home (and forgot to tell my parents until about 3 in the morning, by which time they'd decided I was dead - another reason why being at uni's good).
*grin* I took a champion nap this afternoon. But alas! No chance to make it up tonight, as I have a Big Huge Paper due Wednesday (and I shall make no comment on the state of its completion or lack thereof, for it would make me into a shamefully bad student).
I've pulled two since I started college... also tried to pull one the night before a Lit test, and ended up sleeping from seven until ten minutes before class started. We haven't had that test back, and I still don't want to know what I made on it.
All-nighters aren't all that bad... as long as you can get plenty of sleep the next day. And as long as you drink a ton and a half of caffeine that night and the next day.
But don't do it unless you absolutely have to (i.e., five-page paper due next day...) or else it's not even close to being worth it. Sleep is good.
I so could've not had to, had I managed my time better, but... 'tis my way, unfortunately.
I did take a champion nap this afternoon, though. :D (Everything you needed to know you learned in kindergarten, right? Naps are goooood...) I don't know what I'm running on now, but I'm minimally sleepy and I'm not questioning it!
