The multiple perspectives works so well and gives us not just the view of the familiar canon characters and the tragedy that ends the First War, but those on the fringes of the activities that people wouldn't necessarily think about. In particular, I enjoyed the Padfoot section - the form and structure of that are very well implemented. I also loved your Stella Lovegood - you managed to flesh out a lot about her with a great flair for economy.

One of my current projects is a Frank/Alice story (the first part was posted a couple days ago), and I'm expecting the last parts of it to be just as wrenching... :(
Hee, yay! Stella is an Ollivander, and she got that papoose from her own parents, who took a trip to America to get wand woods before Stella was born.

And no, I hadn't, but I was thinking about an end-of-the-Second-War piece in the same style. My current project is Frank/Alice for rarepair_shorts, and I'm expecting the last few chapters to be rather wrenching.
