i feel bad because i didnt even know about you leaving the country (again) & that makes me feel like a bad friend... or maybe even not a friend... because friends know those things about each other, right?

well, maybe we're just not that kind of friend, but something more implied rather than actually stated. you know its there, but you dont speak of it... maybe... or not... i dont know ( ... )

ive spent alot of time thinking about friendships and what friends do and what friends know and things like that... and i decided that the kind of friends i want to have are the kind that i dont neccessarily talk to everyday, but who i dont need to talk to everyday or even every month to feel like theyre an important person in my life. i think the only kind of friends i (and most people) can manage is the kind where whenever we can we see eachother or talk to eachoether and pick up where we left off, days, weeks, months ago. the kind of friends who know where we stand because they know where we stood and there's no reason that needs to change because of time or space ( ... )

basically the other person (sorry i don't know you) said what i was going to say. that is, it's ridiculous to label anything as the time of your life because that would mean the best is over and nothing will ever be as good as that. that would suck to think that all the time. plus, you sure can have lots of times of your life and you might not always even know it was a time of your life until its past.

personally though, i think the museum with the explanations would be great. for me. i may be slightly artistically challenged because i rarely see what is deep and meaningful about stuff in museums. i might enjoy it because its cool-looking or for other reasons of my own, but i always wonder what the deep meaning is, so if i ever go to london again i will certainly look out for that museum.

1. a) are you going to spain at all?
b) if you do, can you steal guernica for me? or maybe just a picture will do

2. is the food in england really that bad?
