My life has been pretty uneventful lately. Lots of academic team. Kind of might be getting involved with a boy I've been friends with for ages. I've got more hair than I know what to do with now and I think I should probably cut it. It's very nice to be able to be casual about attraction

Well, okay. There have been sparks and some kissing between BJ and I. It might go nowhere, and I don't expect a long-term relationship or anything, but I do really like him and want to be around him.

He's been setting out a college plan for himself--taking the tests, picking out where he wants to go--and we've been talking about that a lot. I guess it kind of made me look at him differently, you know?

One of the things I dislike about myself (other than being attractive but not attractive enough for Whatshername) is how crazy I get about attraction. I'm kind of glad the manic upswings stopped, except nothing gets done.
