Nepal is stunning in its age, the longevity of tradition, of places, of the art: Orlando finally stops taking pictures and is just there.

He texts to them pretty nearly daily, little snippets of what he's seen, not anything lengthy or wordy but always personal, always intimate. He buys little things for them: a statue for Karl, a brush set for Viggo. Something each of them can use on their next projects, or keep at home to enjoy.

He knows that some of his other projects are starting to bear fruit: he's had little chances to use some of his other talents for The Lunchbox Project, for the Everest Peace Project, and it feels good, to be doing something other than acting. Stretching a bit, reaching back to the other things he'd learned before acting took over, took him away from the life he'd expected to this other huge life, that sometimes still feels just a bit too big for him, with all the unsought attention, the unwanted notoriety.

Nepal reminds him to appreciate each moment, to breathe, to remain true to his goals, not be distracted by other peoples' illusions of him but to remember himself as a small part of a large world, and as the only person who can bring what he has to that world in the best way possible. Not the largest, not the most showy, just the most honest.

He's the only one who will ever truly know what Antarctica, Nepal, any of the places he's filmed, home mean to him. As long as he's honest about those feelings, that meaning, that's all that really counts.
