I am assuming you meant pictures from the calendar, and not the pr0n.

And just in case you think it's freaky that I open presents before Christmas, well...Phoebe and I rarely get holiday time together, but since we were both snowed in today, I gave her her birthday present. Then she gave me my Christmas present. Then my apartment manager called and said I had a package, which was Phoebe's Christmas present. Then my downstairs neighbor came to the door with the misdelivered Santa present, and by then we were on a roll.

Well, that and we have no self-control.

The colors are almost surreal to me. I live in a place that's all muted greens and greys and browns most of the year (see the last pic), and when we first looked at the calendar we couldn't believe they were actually real, actual places on Earth and not just--I dunno--dioramas or something. I think my brain would explode from pure visual overload if I actually visited one of those places.

Still, it makes me proud to be an Earthling :)

I think the warped perspective was kind of cool, myself. The LED display on my camera isn't very good, so I have to wait until I upload them to my laptop to see what they really look like. Usually they look better, sometimes they look worse, and sometimes...well, they look rather Dali-ish. With UFOs.

I love my camera.
