So I picked up my new glasses today. I wore my contacts, so I couldn't really try them on to see if I could see. Anyway. I have them on now, and I can see just fine when I'm staring in one direction. Do you have any sort of Transitions coating on your lenses? I ask this because that's what caused the problem with mine. My lenses had the brown Transitions coating, and when I put the glasses on, the prescription was so messed up that I felt like I was looking through a fishbowl. They told me it was normal, and wouldn't listen until I had gone back about 5 times, saying that the damn things gave me a raging headache.
Turns out it was the brown coating that messed up the calibration of the lens grinding machine thingie. And only the brown. The gray was fine, for some reason.
Don't take no for an answer. Bitch and complain until they get it right.

Fishbowl is an accurate description for my problem. Thanks for that. :D It should make it easier to explain when I take them back. I guess that's what I'll be doing tomorrow.
