This chapter was tougher to write than I thought it would be! It's going easier now that there's more characters to play off of.

This is a cool opening so far, it made me curious for more. Ronon as a dog fighter! and Sheppard as police dog! His poor handler though, I bet he doesn't always follow as well as he should. One thing I wondered though, would they really give chicken bones to their dogs? I mean okay Wraith, but I always heard this was a big no-no for dogs and cats because they splinter and hurt the animals?

chicken bones for dogs are definitely a no-no for just the reason you said. The bones splinter and slice up the dogs' insides (ouchies). I specifically pointed out "chicken" bones to help show just how bad an owner Ronon's had to suffer under. That they really don't care one way or the other if the dogs live or die.
