2010 YW WINTER EDITION - THEMES:
The themes may be interpreted any way you like. I'll list some personal request-ideas for collab, should I not have enough time to write my YW entries. By the way, my birthday is on the 30th, so write me gift-fics?
**THIS YEAR, I GREATLY ENCOURAGE ORIGINALITY! It'd be wonderful if people could try to stray as far from cliche as possible, but still have the story be beautifully written. Or if you're really confident in your writing abilities, why not try rocking a cliche? Also, please do your best to beta your work, and don't submit entrys flooded with incoherencies or grammar/spelling mistakes. It's embarassing, and gives lavi...Yuu fans the right to make fun of us. Laven fans don't even bother. Think of it like this: Please don't make our fanfiction archive like that of Naruto's or Harry Potter's. Unless you're planning to write a My Immortal Yullen, which would be hysterical.

Since it's winter, let's also throw out some ideas for some other-story based themes, yes? Think of them as challenges, if you should wish. Be it serious or a romantic comedy or complete crack.
1. The Sound of Music. Kanda as von Trap, Allen as Maria, you know. Just keep him male, if you can. If you make it a musical-fic, please feel free to change up the lyrics! 8D
2. Sweeney Todd - The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Kanda as Sweeney, Allen's past self as Lucy (his "dead" wife) AND Ms. Lovett. Dear god, I would love to see this. :'9 And Sheryll as the pedophilic judge--TROLOLOLOL.
3. The Picture of Dorian Gray. Kanda as Henry, Allen as Dorian. Whoever you wish as Basil. My favourite novel. I haven't feel able to finish it yet, though, since the copy I was reading had to be returned to the library, and I haven't had time to find another since.
4. Memoirs of a Geisha - Hodamn, that's right. But seriously, if you make Allen or Kanda a blubbering uke, I will rip out your intestines and play Cat's Cradle with them. I'm serious.
5. THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS. A classic. But it's amazing on Blu-ray. I was brainstorming ideas for this, but I never had a real chance to write it. Allen as Jack, but this time the scientist (Komui) has two children: Kanda, and inventor, and Lenalee (Sally), a seamstress. The Earl is of course, Oogey Boogey. Or maybe Rhode is. And the Mayor... Hmm. Mana? Surprise me. RhoxLena is an added bonus! :'9 Avoid too much gayness. XD" It's too cliche otherwise. So add in some LavixSachiko/Chomesuke. :'3

1. Last Night, Good Night (watch?v=9VEMIsjzgbc)(Usacover) :: To me, it gives me a very winter feel, yes? The lyrics are beautiful, and seems perfect for Allen.
2. Magnet (watch?v=yyiTMLYfJR8)(MalexMaleCover) :: A gorgeous, gorgeous song. I'd love a Yullen version.
3. Once I saw a Rotten Girl, Grotesque Romance (watch?v=xGThHuZ3lBQ)(Warning: HORROR) that was one-sided AllenxKanda. It was a lavi...Yuu. /Shudder. It'd be great if someone could redo it into a more beautiful version. The one I read had Allen completely out of character. I writer really disliked Allen.
