I heard a HUGE cheer go up on Sunday night, and I realized it was a local Turkish cafe going completely wild with excitement. Later I found out that one of the Turkish players grew up in Walthamstow, so I am now supporting them out of solidarity!

Still not watching any football, though. ;-)

I heard on NPR that Germany won! YAYS!

I'll cheer for them simply because I know a German and she'll likely be cheering for them. ;)
