Ok,i'm back :) So...Catch-22 and The Great Expectations are both close to awsome..War and Peace and Crime and Punishment are also pretty good,if you are into books like that... I'm in love with everything from Kerouak and On The road is not an exception..The Alchemist and Coelho are classic..The Road by Stephen King and The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck i haven't read yet,but those two are never disappointing..
That's pretty much what i have to say when it comes to recommendations..
As for the list..i'm kinda embarrassed to see how many of those i haven't read...and how many i've never heard of *blushes* You've done quite good-i didn't count, but it looks like you've gone through a big chunk of them...

Oh,and Gone With The Wind is also a classic! Love the movie, too.

You always steal things from me, Alle. ;D

I can highly recommend Tess of the D'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy. It's a really amazing book.

Books that arn't on the list, but that you really should read:

Atonement, Ian McEwan
A la recherce du temps perdu (Remembrance of Things Past), Marcel Proust
Pincher Martin, William Golding
Silas Marner, George Elliot
Wings of the Dove, Henry James
The trial, Franz Kafka
The good terrorist, Doris Lessing

Omfg, Coward = Sexy. And I never say that about sims.

One Hundred Years of Solitude is one of my favorite favorite books. I enjoyed it better than Love In The Time of Cholera though I adore both.
