Sonnet: The Turning

Author's Note:  I didn't intend to do this, but my muse seems to want me to write a sonnet cycle devoted to Mick's short bout with mortality and his turning by Josef.  This is the most recent one.  (I wrote it in the car!)  (No, I wasn't driving...but I scribbled it on the back of an envelope.)

The Turning

Decision reached, his eyes glaze into white
