Regarding el hombre chistoso, it would seem that people like they have a right to harass employees and personnel at a place of business since those that work there aren't supposed to be allowed to get angry at them. They have to be professional for their job, but as a customer, you don't have to be anything. Now, if instead the customer-service representative were like a player-referee relationship, that might improve things. Thus, if a customer's being too much of a jerk, the employee can call the manager, and if the manager feels it's warranted, they can pull out a red card, and the customer has to leave, and can't come back for thirty days, or something. And they have to pay a fine. Heh, heh... Man could that get out of hand...

Maybe that guy had early-stage dementia or some other kind of disorder. I work at a "memory and aging center," so we see a lot of dementias and related stuff.
