Nine years is a long time to write fanfic

Don't really use my LJ any more except as a means of A. keeping track of other people's lives, and B. posting radio show announcements at relevant LJ-communities, but I thought I'd take two seconds to say that I am now a "retired fanfic writer". I may write one or two little one-shots in the years to come, but the link below represents my last

I commend you on the change from fanfic to pro-based fic. I don't know that I'll ever stop writing fanfic, even if I get other things published. I think fanfic is my "let me experiment with some ready-made elements" option. That and it's just fun. *g*

I never made the conscious decision to stop writing fanfic; the energy just left it and shifted to other things. I look forward to reading whatever comes from your pen.

And I'm sorry I've drifted off. It's been a hell of a four or so years, I'm afraid. But I think on you fondly, and miss you and hope you're well. Season's blessings to you and your family.
