I know! I almost always mix my alcohol with caffeine (Coke, Mountain Dew, coffee, etc.) This would be a severe cramp in my style.

Well I doubt they could ban in within the confines of one's own home

They're already going that way with cigarettes. They might have a difficult time enforcing such a stupid law, but that wouldn't stop them from passing it.

Picture it: a memo comes down to smoother the Tea Party, and some dimbulb says "oh, they must have meant tea bags...."

I don't drink many caffeinated beverages, but I know a lot of people who do; and Josh's drink of choice when going cheap is Rum & Coke (Long Island's when not). I read through some of the comments on the article, and I agree with a few... all of this because of two people? I think there's more to it than that; and people need to take personal responsibility. A phrase rarely heard anymore and certainly not enforced by our Lord and Savior President.

Guess if this passes, we'll be stuck to taking shots all the time for hard liquor. Oh darn.

It's as redundant as blaming music and video games for school shootings. If you die because of something you did 9 times out of 10 it's because you are a moron. They didn't by chance say how much those two guys had to drink?
