For about a week, Terry was inconsolable. He was distant, moody, and completely unreasonable to be with. Everyone gave him space, knowing why he was upset: Daphne had cut him off entirely, and a heart wrenching scene later he was alone with no explanation

Drew had been making it up the stairs after a long jog. After the night he had with Mandy he needed to clear his head. The house has been eerily quiet, almost worse than when everyone was buzzing about. Amanda decided to stay with some friends and Terry had been basically unapproachable.

But then he heard the yelling and he knew it was time to brave that much needed conversation.

"Terry?" he asked, knocking on his door. "Hey, mate, you in there?"

"Yeah," he replied gruffly, pushing the shit off his bed and walking over to open the door.

"Hey."

Terry didn't really make eye contact with Drew, just sort of standing in the doorway quietly.

"What's going on, mate?" he asked stepping into the room. It looked so different filled with Terry's things. It was hard to believe that a few months ago this was just his hang out space.

"You seem pretty upset..."

"Did you see what she posted online?" he barked, not at Drew, but just out of frustration. "It's a bloody invitation to a party. So everyone can fucking see her but me. But I don't get a bloody explanation."

He felt so comfortable with Drew suddenly. The cup had changed their relationship. It was such a bonding experience.
