without having digested this all, let me say, that's good to hear.
i'm disappointed to learn that you don't appear to have a (real*) imax theater close by, the nearest being in san jose, monterey, and sf. in my own less than humble opinion, real imax really does elevate the experience for movies of this quality. that's where i'll be tomorrow night.

*in the event you're unfamiliar with the travesty that's fake imax

I've been in exactly one "real" imax theater: Hastings Nebraska, mid-90s. Don't even remember the film, but the screen was certainly very tall.

I've encountered a couple of bad reviews from ppl I trust, so I may have to wait for a matinee at our discount theater. You'll of course be reviewing it yourself, y/y?
