Hi, this is an entirely different approach and I enjoyed it immensely. Cas ending up in the past, with the Winchesters no less, and kind of calling out to Dean for help, well, that makes a great story. I like the way your Mary feels protective over Cas and the way you make Sam hesitate to forgive right away. Your ending couldn't be more perfect. So thanks for making my evening...
I'm curious what you mean by "an entirely different approach"--because Cas begins the story human and ends an angel again or...? Sorry, haha, don't mean to pry. Anyway, thank you for leaving such a specific comment and I'm happy you liked the story. ♥
I hope I used 'approach' accurately here (as English is not my mothertongue)... What I meant was just that I've read so many stories about how Cas might have escaped from the lake and that I don't think anybody has sent him to the past before or made him meet Mary and John. At least I don't remember anything like that. And it actually IS a very good idea... You know, I've been into the fandom for quite a while now and have read a lot. I just like to be surprised once in a while...

I'm glad I had an idea you hadn't seen before. :)
