You're right, it would, but it'd be bad if we started jumping to the wrong conclusion from the get-go. There's inconsistencies, after all.

It's true the apathy syndrome victims are awfully similar, yet we can't be so sure where they get it from. Have you heard? There's even been a few cases where they mysteriously recovered.

Well... Not much has come out of it. Not a single report can say why or how they were inflicted in the first place. It just happens.
