I would rather not disclose any information regarding my personal experiences. However, from what I can tell, these dopplegangers are more intelligent than normal shadows. The methods that one would assume to work for dopplegangers are ineffective. They exist either in multiples of single people or have the ability to change shape somehow.

That's all I've been able to find out.
