Taka wasn't the type to leave a lady waiting, y'know. A good three minute later, he was descending the stairs with a spare coat in hand. That green kid would have to cover up, right?

"Good, then you're serious about this."

And then, a hand motion backwards, toward the basement door.

"Our guide's right downstairs. .. You sure you're ready?"

"Been waiting here for the last hour, so of course I am!" She titled her head at Taka's gesture - ok, basement. Sure there wasn't a lot of them in the city, but it was just a basement.

"What's so special down there?"

[shelteringly]

"An hour? I told ya' midnight, y'retard! Anyway, like I said.. S'where our guide is."

Taka made quick work of crossing the foyer, fumbling at the door on the southern-most wall a bit, and starting down the stairs into the basement. .. Shit, it was almost the Dark hour--just a minute to go.

"Oi, Jin!"

The sudden footsteps and the voice calling out told Jin that the operation was still on for the night. He wasn't even sure if he was surprised or not. It had been a hell of a week...
