Definetly going to the top of my rec list! This has everything I love: beautiful poetic narrative, constant reminders of Godric's youth, blood everywhere, Eric being fucked senseless but still powerful enough to take what he wants and give back, cold comfort without getting mushy, and a beginning in one of the most wonderful places I've ever visited.
