Harada-san must mean the Lunar New Year, as the Western New Year has already rung its way in. &hearts

No, it certainly isn't, but the Gregorian calendar marks the new year by a different set of standards. The Japanese of my time have come to celebrate both in their own right.

...Well, I guess that sounds all right! No harm in having twice the parties!

I think a little bit of holiday cheer is exactly what this place is missin'!

That's the spirit, Sakamoto-san! Will you help, then?

'Course I will! Wouldn't dream of missing it. I like your style, big guy!

Oh, Sano. So soft OTL He'd still fuck up anyone who messed with his friends on a holiday, though... all_heart_sano January 4 2009, 02:20:06 UTC
Haha, I'm glad! I know it's not like we're really fighting here, but I think an important festival like this should be a time we can all be friends, even if it's just for a little while.

That sounds like a wonderful idea. Back home, I always threw the most talked-about Christmas parties. Since that's come and gone and I in the throes of a cold from that stupid curse.. perhaps a New Years party would be a good alternative.

Ah..yes, that's right. Ijuin Rei. I apologize for not being a bit more formal..

Just let me know when and where you plan to have it and I'll make sure to make the time.

Harada Sanosuke... It's a pleasure, Ijuin-san!

Well, let's see...the new year is in about three weeks, and I was thinking we could have it in between the housing area and the forest? Or maybe in that wide open field...

As long as there's liquor, I'm up for a party. Just don't expect me to dance or anything.

Well, no one wants to be forced into anything. I think what's best is to just have lots of fun things available, and let people pick and choose... and I'm sure there'll be alcohol.

I'm only showin' up because Virginia is gonna be there. I'm not really much of a partying kinda guy.

Well, as long as there's booze, count me in. Virginia has already suckered me into helping prepare, anyway.

It depends on the kind of party, I guess, as far as I'm concerned. But I'm sure everyone would be glad to see you, even for a little while! And I think Virginia-san probably wants you to come along, too...
