Alcazaba of Malaga - Spain

Alcazaba (from the arabic al-qasbah, citadel) is the name given to Moorish fortifications in Spain. In southern Spain especially, a lot of cities have their Alcazaba, sometimes a mere tower on a hill, sometimes a much more sophisticated building with a real palace hidden inside the ramparts. What an absolutely gorgeous place! I've never been interested in visiting Spain, but this might just change my mind. It would have been nice if they hadn't partly destroyed the theatre in its building, but that, unfortunately, wasn't an uncommon occurrence.

Haha ^^ Spain is a beautiful country, indeed, with various kinds of landscapes, some of them very exotic, amazing cities and monuments, lovely villages and rich history. I'm glad if my pictures may attract you here :-)
