Bova has been a busy vampire as of late. Even with Danny abruptly gone, there were other things to do, to work on, and with the help of Irene's "borrowed" trailer, there was shopping to be done. It keeps him in his lab for most of the day but-- what else is new, right? That's no change at all.
A few days have passed since the humans' escape and Bova's talk with Drusilla before he is out in the sewers, moving through glowing pups and looking for Harth. There is a box under one arm and when he stops to remove the duster he wears, the way he handles it says the contents are probably fragile.
