Oh, Elementary...

Yes, kudos to you for not merely making Irene Adler a Love Interest of Sherlock (goddamnit, again? My reign for one fucking adaptation that doesn't do that...) or a villain (goddamnit, again?), but upping the ante by making her Moriarty. She's now a supervillain, it's very exciting, congratulations.

Except... she's Become The Mask and she truly fell in love with Sherlock and that's her downfall.

For fuck's sake, at least when she's the actual criminal mastermind and not just the underling of one, could you maybe not neuter her and let her manipulate a guy without giving a shit about him? Why cannot she be fascinated by his mind and enjoying the game and still feel nothing for him as a person? Why does love have to be brought into this?

Why do I have yet again to see a female villain be defeated because of her feelings? Oh, those silly wimmin, falling for their marks and letting their emotions get in the way of their brains...

If there was one single thing not to copy BBC Sherlock on, it was this. Way to go!
