Dropping Toast

So. The Edinburgh International Film Festival tickets go on sale today (five minutes ago, according to the website, although the online box office still isn't open) for advance bookings, including the premiere of Neil Gaiman's Stardust.

Guess what day I decided to leave my bank card at home?

All is well, there appears to have been less of a rush for this than there was for Serenity...

I knew 'Stardust' rang a bell: they filmed some of it in Norwich - on Elm Hill. there's a pub in it called The Slaughterhouse or something like that, which is actually a teashop called the Britons Arms. Major local gossip factor. Hope you managed to get tix!

They should just have kept it as a teashop, but called it the Slaughterhouse. That would have been pleasingly incongrous. If that's how you spell "incongrous". There might be another "u" in there.

Anyway! Yes, I managed to get tickets in the end, as well as tickets to the new Pixar movie that's showing at the film festival so all's well that ends well.
