It was. The stalls were on the stands so could keep out of the sun too and not get sunburnt so much.. though I think I may of got a little burned anyway.

Thanks Jay!

When I was telling Rick and his girlfriend about it at work earlier in the week his girlfriend said that from the sounds of it I'm becoming a local BookCrossing legend.

That amused me

We did one in Canberra two years ago and it was a blast! I am glad you had a nice day for it. and you sound like you had a lovely day too.

Was a good day. I did another one earlier in the year at the Waitangi Day Picnic (hope to do another one next year for the community picnic, was a lot of fun).

So far I've gotten one JE from it and one new member.

Just checking the members for the West Coast now, so far looks like only one new member has joined up as a result of the stall and I'm pretty sure its an artist I know through work.

Have had one book journaled as well by an AF.

Looks like a great day - and a great effort! Hope you get some new members.

Not many JE or new members yet but still early days. They may want to read the books before they journal them.

I did get a lot of people smiling and thanking me so that makes it worth it.
