Wait...where's the rest?
There's more, right? Right? Like right now, right??
RIghT?

AGH I still feel bad for Adonis, and like I said before, 99.9% I hate the guy; it must suck hugely to watch the woman you love fall for another guy right in effing front of you. Thanks again for actually getting me to empathize with a character that I can't give two rocks for most of the time.

I can tell this is going to be goooood. Keep it up please!
And quickly before I die of anticipation.

If it makes it any better, the next 3 parts are almost done being written....I've actually been writing this story backwards for some bizarre reason.

I'm glad that you liked this update. I remembered that you don't normally like Adonis, so I'm glad that I managed to keep him in character - he does walk a very fine line.

We're about to find out just exactly how much - I'm writing this scene right now. The chapter's getting a bit steamy. But I suppose there's never really enough smut in the world.

As always, I love the playful banter between Venus and Adonis. You portray their close relationship so well and I can see why Adonis is going to become upset and anxious about Venus's relationship with Kunzite. Even though Kunzite doesn't speak to Adonis, we see the kind of man he is because he's made the effort to learn Venusian customs, especially the bow. And then you have that teasing yet ominous exchange between Venus and Kunzite at the end?

‘You’re saying he has corrupted her?’

‘That is what men do to rational women,’ she commented offhandedly.

You can almost hear the thunder rumble in the distance.

I cannot wait to see this particular rational woman corrupted. Even though I'm not quite sure Minako is all that rational.

Yeah....that would probably be a safe bet. :)

Although everything was utterly fantastic, this one and 'Harder to Breathe' are my favorites of the series. I think this starts to lay the groundwork for all the subsequent pieces beautifully, with Adonis' first meeting of Kunzite, the discrepancy between how he acknowledges Adonis and Venus in front of the others, and then the 'private' bantering.

If you continue to ignore your other suitors I’ll be the only one left for you to marry.’
I loved this line! Although I highly doubt she will EVER run out of suitors ... haha!

‘My princess would have never known these actions if not for him.’Another favorite line, in addition to the subsequent ones. I absolutely love the bantering! I think Kunzite does it well, and the impact of it is even more profound, as he isn't flirtatious by nature ( ... )

It's fun writing conversation for Kunzite. He is so witty, yet his sense of humor is subtle that if you're not paying attention you just might miss it.

Needless to say, you can add me to that list and expect nudges from me, too!
Nudge softly, I bruise easily :)

I'm glad you liked this story so far (that's on it's way to becoming an epic....)
