Suggestions for sightseeing in Boston/Cambridge?

 So ... I'm going to Cambridge/Boston, MA for an academic conference thingie this weekend, but I'll have one day free and intend to go sight-see... anyone out there from the area/have any suggestions?

I've never been there myself, but DW fanfic writer earlgreytea68 (http://earlgreytea68.livejournal.com/) lives there, and I bet if you posted a question on her livejournal, she'd give you some suggestions! She's written a bunch of posts about exploring Boston...but I can't seem to find them. Sigh. I hope you have a good time at the conference!
