I am looking forward to Twelve Years a Slave too--thanks for the link! Steve McQueen was so amazing with captivity in Hunger that he might do great things with this. I kind of wish he'd made a movie about British slavery--there are far fewer movies about slavery in the Caribbean than about slavery in the US--but that's just a quibble.

Have Whitehapel 4x01 but haven't managed to watch it yet.
