Things that irritate me and things that are WTF.

John Barrowman co-wrote a book called BONE QUILL? *hands* I'm liking him in Arrow but he needs to do sexier things. *nods*

Mr Selfridge (UK) gets a second season? WTF. I love the rest of the cast, but Jeremy Piven is pretty um... bad. I never knew he was that poor an actor. I mean, he does bits of Selfridge that work, i.e. when he is channeling ( Read more... )

WASN'T IT? Gah, I hate that Romola Garai and Ben Whishaw can't keep a show going purely on their sex appeal.

I love Being Human. But I didn't have issues with it like some people did. I find it hilarious. The second set of roommates is interesting and the boys are slashy. ;)

THE HOUR!! SO pissed off about The Hour getting the axe. Oh, my lovely Bel.
I'm in the minority, but I was irritated at Upstairs Downstairs being canceled, too.

What puzzles me about Mr Selfridge is the boiled and bland dialogue, coming from Andrew Davies. It's a nice enough show, but now I'm only there for the clothes.

I am also irritated at the cancellation of U/D, mostly because even though it made me very mad at times, I wanted to see what happened and Adrian Scarborough is amazing. *frowny face*

Oh, right! It's Andrew Davies. He's fallen. But yeah, the clothes are nice.

Jacques has a knife. Every year he replaces the blade. Every seven years he replaces the handle. What, then, is Jacques' knife?

Err, I mean, all of the first lot of characters left Being Human, so it would have been a completely different show anyway.

But it's NOT a completely different show. It's still just as amazing. And one of the characters has been there since Season 3.

I am so annoyed about The Hour! Especially since I read a thing that they intended it to be a three-series arc, AND they left us on that cliff-hanger! BOO BBC.

I can't recall if you saw Zero Dark Thirty? (CASTING SPOILER AHEAD)

Barrowman's in that, believe it or not.

Yes, I've seen it. And Barrowman's sort of non-Barrowman, blink-and-you'll-miss-it role!

But I admire that he's doing what he needs to do to get work, and it will pay off for him, I'm thinking a CW series or a juicy role on Showtime. (If I was in charge of stuff).
