I am enjoying the twists and turns of the mystery (who Emily was, her role in the mystery), and I like the recurring imagery of the clues (the footprints in the snow, which then return as John's photos and finally as John sees them as he becomes overtired). Sherlock's imagining of the movement of the murderers also seems to fit into the celebration of movement.

The interaction of the characters seems good, but I will need a second reading to suss out the details of what I liked.

I look forward to Part 2...
