Re: Supernatural. I came to really like the character of Anna. At first she grated on my nerves, but by the end, I thought she was quite gorgeous and well-drawn. I was also inspired by The Vintner’s Luck, by Elizabeth Knox (The Gay Angel Novel, you know ( Read more... )

I cannot believe I'm the first to comment on this amazing little ficlet! I love the whole mood and tone of this piece-I've never really read anything like it before.
Also, I really loved your writing and the way you shaped these characters. Heck, I'm even beginning to like Anna, thanks to you (and that's a first!)
The last paragraph of this was absolutely beautiful and moving. I really enjoyed this fic and thank you so much for sharing!
And on a totally non-fic note, *jazzhands* for you knowing and having read The Vintner's Luck. I love that novel and have been trying to convince everyone I know to read it!

Yay! Someone read the fic! I was worried it had fallen flat.

In fact, your icon is PERFECT for this fic. Is that available to share? I quite like how jealous Castiel is...

*jazzhands* to you too for The Vintner's Luck! I really thought it was something very special. Not just because of the Gay Angel aspects and the wine, but because it was beautiful and meditative and lovely.

Thank you, you have made my evening!

Awww...it's no problem sweetie =D And don't worry about your fic: it's perfectly lovely!
As for the icon, it was made by the beautifully talented lasamy who I'm sure won't mind if you use it once you credit her, yeah?
Oh yes...the Vintner's Luck was so wonderfully written that it just draws you in and holds you there and makes you forget about everything else around you. Definitely one of my favorite books. Have you heard they're making it into a movie with my French boyfriend Gaspard Ulliel as Xas? I absolutely cannot wait for that one!
And I'm glad I made you happy!! As soon as I come back, I'm going to pimp the living daylights out of this fic because I think all my f-list ought to read it.

I'm so AMAZED and HAPPY to hear that this is being made into a movie. OMG. And that fellow Gaspard! I looked him up and he's the kid from Hannibal. How gorgeous can you get? As I was reading the novel, I could picture the movie in my head. I'm glad I wasn't the only one!

I like the feel of this, and especially the detail about the rain. Thanks for sharing :)

Thank you. I have serious RAIN issues and the thought of Anna inhabiting the rain... okay, it was self-indulgent. I'm glad you liked!

Wow, that was awesome! What an unusual and fantastically done POV. Love the idea of Dean haunting his father's journal and Sam. Aching to think that they would return to Hell after all of that.
