And then BAM! You blindside me with Dean being alive! Dean and the Impala, whee! Good misdirect, because I wasn't expecting that at all.

And the picture of Dean/Sam/Ruby is one to behold. Yum.

Nicely done! This is a cool apocalyptic idea, and I really love some of the lyrical, powerful lines that grace this piece, like A post-apocalyptic existence was all about want. And memory. And your voices are great, especially Dean's; I can hear him perfectly.

goddamn, but i love apocalyptofic. spn apocalyptofic, with hot, tragic sam/ruby is just extra awesome. sam as jesus/noah earns you another nine awesomes. and dean is back! dean alive again is awesome cubed. the tide of dead bodies is delightfully disturbed, and dear un-dead dean complaining of homelessjesussammy is hilarious. very well played.

I'm FINALLY reading this and it's great! I love the idea of a sped-up aftermath once Dean went to hell and the demons started to take over. And once Dean came back I LOVE that Sam turned to Ruby instead. This puts a bit of a warm glow on the apocalypse for me. :)

Hey, great! Glad you could read this - despite all the excitement and chaos of the premiere (which rocked).

I did a looooong apocalyptic depressing SPN story last year for this 'thon and so suddenly I found myself just wanting the characters to live and stuff... :)

And Ruby was intensely fun to try to figure out. Warm Fuzzy apocalypse, yay.
