*whistles* Very nice - like that it was Dawn who was the first to strip off. Amanda wouldn't have done it without somebody else taking the lead, and Kennedy doing that first would just have felt a little 'ewww'. Nice Kennedy voice.

Well, also the prompt was for swimming-in-the-nude Dawn, so the main focus had to be on her. If Amanda were to take charge, I would at the very least have had to write it from her POV to make the OOCish behavior believable. And I think the erotic charge is greater if Kennedy isn't actively seducing anyone, because then we have nudity outside of a specifically sexual context.

I bet you didn't expect me to set it during canon, did you? But in order for Dawn's nakedness to carry the erotic charge I wanted it to have she had to be more vulnerable than the post-"Chosen" Dawn I usually write--I needed the innocent schoolgirl rather than the manipulative seductress.

And oh, I love Amanda so much. I miss Amanda. (But now that I've done this one, I've written enough fics with her to earn her her own place in my character index. So hooray!)
