I'm not familiar with the canon, but I'd love to read it.

I'm much less interested in "mutant abilities don't work that way" than "women's bodies don't work that way" and "the English language doesn't work that way" and "thematic-narrative logic doesn't work that way," so I don't think familiarity with the canon would be necessary for a beta. Nor to understand the fic itself; all the knowledge required is that the characters involved are telepathic siblings.

I wish I had something else to say, but that's pretty much it. Although I do seem to remember reading that the Cuckoos didn't naturally have a group mind; that they thought of themselves as individuals who sometimes combined their telepathic powers to form an even more powerful groupmind.
