I accept! Erm, that is if I can read and write book reviews more often than, say, replying to letters...

HOW DARE YOU NOT KEEP UP WITH MY STUPID BULLSHIT. And I believe it is I who owe you a letter, I think...

Well, I'm still way in arrears on your letters, not to mention FB messages, replies, smoke signals, telegraphs...

Your wish for kids movies with romances between same-sex characters reminded me of the first scene in Ella Enchanted. If one doesn't know the context of the scene, it really appears that Ella's mother and fairy godmother are together, and that really just adds to it, imho. I wish there really were a movie where that was the principal story.

HOW DARE YOU AGAIN HAVE A LIFE OUTSIDE MY NAVEL GAZING QUANDARIES (quandary) AND STUPID FUCKING QUESTIONS.

And damn, watching EE it that way (I'd never seen that movie before) really makes me want more same sex couples than ever. :^(
THEY WOULD MAKE SUCH A CUTE BICKERING COUPLE.

Like I've said, I really enjoy The Secret of the Wings if I pretend Periwinkle (OH FUCK I KNOW THEIR NAMES NOW) is Tinkerbell's love interest rather than her discovered sister, seriously (especially since I was so spoiled by Pixar that I thought all children's movies are alike now-- brrrrr). I mean, just look at how much better the art on the merchandise is when you look at it with that point of view.
