Jesus fucking Christ, McCain is calling himself the underdog?? He's not the little league baseball team nobody would think would win, he's running for president! Saying you're the underdog in such a (surprisingly) tight race is fucking insane! Life's not fair.... wah wah wah.

Oh, come now, "Life's not fair" is right up there with "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country" and "A house divided against itself cannot stand"!
Ugh, those are presidential quotes. And if January, McCain canNOT be our president. *shudders*
I like to think you walked away from your stay in America not completely tainted. ;^)

I just watched the debate at Michael's.

1. I love Gwen Ifil, who called them both out when they didn't answer the questions.

2. The stupidity of the American people never fucking fails to amaze me; how could ANYBODY be undecided in this election? How? Biden is experienced, a great speaker, addressed the questions fully. Palin just spouted the same talking points no matter what the question was and said she wanted to expand the powers of the Vice President (more than Cheney already has? WTF?).

3. Smug conservative women bring out my repressed violent tendanceies. If that bitch winked at "joe six-pack" one more time I was gonna reach through the screen and... ARGH!

Also, it was great to see they both agreed on selling out same-sex marriage. I expected no less.

I loved Gwen Ifil since she had the sense of humor to appear on TCR. Funny how that happens. ^_^

When I heard that bit about how she and McCain have fought for rights and equality, I nearly fell off my bed (where I was watching it which is okay since the way my TV faces I have to lie in bed opposite the way I sleep). ANTI-CHOICE?!!! ANTI-CIVIL RIGHTS!?!? HAVE THESE PEOPLE EVEN BEEN FUCKING LISTENING TO THEIR OWN PLATFORMS!?!? Oh, same sex marriage. Are there any political stooges you CAN'T unite? I hope Sarah Palin's new grand child is as gay as spring rain!

Smug conservative women (or frankly, any) deserve to have all the rights given to them by the movements they've railed against revoked. And that goes for any minority stupid enough to do so. *shakes head*

ZOMG, when she said that shit about "extra credit" and "shout-outs" and winking and the rest of that, I almost screamed "YOU'RE SECOND IN LINE TO BE LEADER OF THE MOTHERFUCKING FREE WORLD. SHOW A LITTLE GODDAMN DIGNITY."
