I was Myrna too with 14% grit, 38% wit, 14% flair, and 45% class. I've idolized her since I was around 12 years old. I had an article I clipped from Vogue magazine in my locker in high school http://www.geocities.com/jenbirdscully/loy.html.
Oooh, delightful! I remember seeing a special on women archetypes in film when I was about thirteen and deciding I liked best the "Wisecracking" archetype, "a little smarter than everyone else in the game and having the most fun", as personified by Myrna Loy, Mae West, and a few of Jayne Mansfield's roles. Beats the "plucky young upstart" or "the ingenue" any day!
