my first inception fic, guys - I can't believe I'm doing this. it usually takes me a lot longer to get settled into a fandom before I even think about writing anything, but there's just something about this fandom. written for a prompt over at inception_kink, :3.

I already posted a comment at the meme, but again this was heartrending and lovely. Wanted to leave you a comment on your home turf.

It really makes me think, too; part of the reason I enjoy the stories wherein Eames pines for Arthur is that to me, Eames doesn't really seem the pining sort. Arthur, however, does. Eames would wail and moan and get over it, while Arthur would hang on to his quiet heartbreak for far too long.

It's so grand to be in a fandom where you can see things from a variety of perspectives, change up your native way of looking at a story. Thanks for posting this.

your comments are so sweet - thank you, ♥. I haven't ever thought about it like that before, but hindsight, that's exactly why I have such a weakness for Eames-pining-after-Arthur fics. it was fun playing with the characters and writing it the other way though, :).

My heart was near beating out of my chest when I read it. BTW, I was listening to Clubbed to Death from V for Vendetta and it matches this story personally. Seriously, my heart was near beating out of my chest. Gosh this is what this fandom needs.
