Title: The Physics Of Falling (In Love)
Author: papered
Fandom: Super Junior
Characters/Pairings: Hangeng, Sihan
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 510
Notes: Written with Yang Yu Ying's Tell You Softly on repeat.

The boy reminds him of himself. Hearing the disjointed Chinese is enough to bring back memories of his own time in Korea. (Maybe that's why he bothers.) )

I adore this. It's quiet and thoughtful (much as I like to picture Han Geng,) and just lovely. The strikethroughs lend a nice sort of honesty to it as well. I sball have to friend this journal.

I'm glad you thought the strikethroughs worked out - I had a lot of fun playing around with that and the general format. :) Thank you!

this is why sihan was the obvious choice for my first otp of this fandom
(*-*)
k so, first, the format. i'm usually not a fan of fics written in kind of list form but this seemed to work it as though perhaps this kind of thing is exactly what 'list form' ever came to be used for in fiction.
the strikeouts, italic and brackets are all pretty darn masterfully used too! in direct contrast i actually really like when formatting is used to further develop a story, and it seems to deepen the mood here really well.

At night, it's quiet.
this is wonderful. just the words on their own - four words for that whole part and you're expecting more but it never comes. the sentence seems lonely while still being a sentence in its own right and technically not needing anything more.

It's like he'd been thirsty all these years, but hadn't quite realized it until now.
i love this line, a lot. i'm not sure why but it really hits home and leaves you reeling. but the slight confusion at that point really works because it seems like he's really confused ( ... )

I have a tendency to favour the list format, just because it's such a handy thing to use to break up story parts, so I'm glad you thought the format worked out here. :) I had a lot of fun playing around with the brackets and strikethroughs.

Thanks so much for the lovely review. ♥ I'm glad you enjoyed this!

I really liked the quality of this Shihan fic. It had a nice soft feel to it. Like a love story that could happen to anyone, and how out of everyone, it was those two that came together. I enjoyed it alot!

I'm glad you got that kind of feel from this, because I was sort of aiming for the cliched "fated" idea while trying not to be too obvious about it. :) Glad you liked, ty! ♥
