[ She pauses. ] You seem like you could use some company.

Hello, Pepper. [He nods to her and sits down as he grabs a bowl and pours some milk into it, setting it on the table with Allcat and sitting at the table, stroking his pet while he does.]

You are up early.

[Pepper shrugs and flips over the two pancakes with ease.]

There's no reason to lay in bed if I cannot sleep. Do you want some of these?

[Orihime is...still trying to get the hang of her communicator. She's not even aware that it CAN record on accident sometimes, and if she's seeing this video show up, then it must be a subtle request for help...right? But she doesn't know Thor, nor is she a good source of advice when she doesn't know what those troubles are. She CAN, however, provide a cheery distraction. She's very good at that.]

[He smiles to her, nodding a little, and turns the device to show his grouchy old one-eyed cat.]

Cute is rarely a word used to describe him, but he is such. [Menace is usually the one used most.]

[She laughs, tickled. The grouchy face just makes the cat cuter, in her opinion. And the person she's in love with back home also happens to have a grouchy face. HOW WEIRD.]

Ha ha! He's very cute. His purr sounds like a tiny motorboat!

I do not know what a motorboat is. [He laughs lightly.] Is it much different to a normal boat?

[ Steve couldn't sleep, either. His fight with Tony, whatever it was going on with Natasha, and the added fact that his metabolism was back in full force all kept him tossing and turning and he finally got out of bed, throwing on his robe and making his way downstairs. He hadn't expected anyone else to be up, so when he saw Thor in the kitchen, he was surprised. And maybe a little guilty. ] Thor.

[Thor was about to leave, and instead he pauses at the sight of Steve, giving him a courteous nod.] Good morning, Steven. [He crosses his arms over his chest, wondering just whether he'll have another day like the ones he's had recently. Dealing with everyone else's drama is kind of exhausting and he's tempted to just kidnap Sif and lock them both away for the day in his bedroom.]

Do you want some coffee? [ He's sheepish. He knows he's in trouble with Thor, and he doesn't want to exacerbate the problem. He heads over to the coffee pot and starts tinkering with it, scooping in the grounds and filling it with water. ]

[He nods once more.] If you plan to make some, then yes. [He moves to lean against the counter, absently toying with his phone for something to do. He still hasn't worked out all the features but he doesn't feel the need to.]
