[ Campbell has never had to buy a Valentine's Day present before. He wasn't entirely sure what to get. He wanted something that said 'I like you' but wasn't too creepy and stalkerish for a new and blooming friendship. In the end, he settled for chocolates and a rose - cliché, yes, but they had to work or else people wouldn't buy them, right

[Considering his strategy, he's quite lucky she's in the house and not the TARDIS, otherwise he'd have been waiting for awhile. As it is, it doesn't take long before Rose peeks out through the door, curious. Who would be knocking at this time of the day? Who'd be knocking at all?

She blinks, and...oh...is that a rose and a card with her name on that suspiciously wrapped box? She glances around the immediate area a moment, curious, before reaching down to pick up the package and flip the card. There's no point wondering if the card itself says something, right?]

[ The card simply says 'be my Valentine', original, right? He should've picked a better bush to hide in. A roomier bush. He tries to keep as still as possible to the branches don't move or the leaves rustle, but he does spare a peek out to see what's happening. ]

[Well it's cute! And...yeah, the rose smells nice. But this is no clearer as to who left it! As far as she knows she doesn't exactly have suitors tripping over themselves here, and the only person who comes to mind...would probably at least leave it at her bedroom door, rather than outside.
